Make The Dream A Reality

June 4, 2020

Since our founding 12 years ago, PS has always and unconditionally embraced our wonderful and diverse professional family, supporting each other and our customers through our shared values of People, Empathy and Respect. We have always put “People” first because we understand – instinctively and intuitively – that all of us everywhere share a common humanity, regardless of race, age, gender, sexual orientation or any other personal characteristic which defines our unique and cherished individualities. The differences we celebrate in each other are simply the natural and fundamental elements which give strength to our company’s culture and enable our collective success.

From this bedrock foundation, all of us at PS Salon & Spa stand united against the lifetimes of senseless violence and discrimination directed towards the Black community in this country – laid bare, again, in the last few weeks by the murders of Breonna Taylor, Ahmaud Aubrey and George Floyd. No person should ever be made to experience the injustice, indignity, prejudice or violence from racial or any discrimination, and we all have an obligation to speak up, to not remain silent and to reject all forms of discrimination outright – wherever and whenever we observe it.

This has to end, and may this challenging and emotional moment finally start to change hearts and minds across our country, and be a turning point for all of us.

PS will continue supporting our team members and their families with the same resolve, ensuring our culture and the salons in which we gather to work are always safe and inclusive environments. We encourage everyone to engage in more dialogue, and learn more, and listen more, and be a source of positive energy and change within your communities. We lift ourselves up by lifting up each other.

We all have the power to act and the power to ensure that all Americans are judged by the content of their character and not by the color of their skin. Please help make that Dream a Reality.

Thank you.
